September is Promedical Fundraising month!

On for another year, the Promedical Survivor Games at Benjor did not disappoint! Eighteen teams took part in the event, ready to help a good cause and have a lot of fun along the way.

As always, it was not only a great day of entertainment for the participants, but the spectators had a fantastic time watching the shenanigans, as teams proceeded through the four games.

Reflecting the humorous spirit of the event, ‘Tom’s big balls’ game was the first one to warm up both the teams and the audience.

The Tug of War was as always, packed with excitement and ‘Dress the Dummy’ had everyone laughing.

A new game, the ‘Wooby Water Waiter’ made its debut this year, testing the balance and coordination of participants.

This year, the team from Thrifty Auto Centre won the ‘Brute Strength’ trophy and Promedical Rescue VDART team “Survivor” were the FUNdraising champions.

This is the first event of ProMedical’s September Fundraiser month. The closing Gala Dinner will take place this year on September 30th at Warwick Le Lagon, and as every year, it will include some great prizes and a fantastic auction with lots of generous donations from individuals and business.

Tickets are now available at 8,500vt per person including dinner, sparkling wine and canapés on arrival and entertainment.

Irma, aka ‘Red’ has been organizing the September Fundraising month for eight years now, and has been busy knocking on business’s doors and getting the community involved. “These are all charity events that have effectively contributed over the years to provide Vanuatu with an effective ambulance service that saves lives.

Everyone can help and become involved and it does not matter how big or small your donation is, the important thing is to have the heart to give, and every vatu makes a difference and contributes to fund a wonderful service for all,” she explains.

ProMedical hopes to achieve 5 million vatu in total donations that will go, as always, towards providing more equipment and helping the organization function throughout the year.

ProMedical would like to thank all the sponsors, volunteers and everyone who has helped by donating their time, skills, money or goods to this year’s fundraising efforts.
