Kandy’s Kitchen – Super juices

juices It may be a cliché but the super juice is really super! The ingredients we have available to us here in Vanuatu are plentiful; seasonal but fresh and organic. A couple of the recipes that I am sharing with you need some ingredients from abroad, such as apples, kiwi fruit or spirulina but most of the ingredients in the juices below grow locally.

I have been making juices every morning for the last two months: I love it. With all our produce at the markets right now, you can make an array of yummy, super-good for you juices.

You will need a blender or nutri bullet and I use the juice of a green coconut in all my juices. If you don’t like the green coconut, use water and for an extra cold juice, add crushed ice. Crush the ice first slightly to save the blades of your domestic blender.

There is a juice for every occasion and in Vanuatu, for every season. Here are some of favorites.
