Pioneering Pacific women hold lessons for new generation of politicians

The many barriers to women’s participation in politics in the Pacific are well documented, but what about the successes?

That was the question put by a paper presented recently at the University of the South Pacific.

By studying the lives of three of the Pacific’s most successful politicians, the authors hope to find lessons that can apply to the next generation of female leaders.
