Pacific-writing-workshopCommonwealth Writers, in association with the University of the South Pacific, will run a week-long residential writing workshop between 23 and 28 February 2015 in Suva, Fiji. The workshop is for writers wishing to tell stories through prose fiction and creative non-fiction. It will focus on short form writing. This workshop is open to writers over 18 living in Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu or Vanuatu (who are citizens of those or other Commonwealth nations). The workshop will be free to attend and support offered to writers travelling to Fiji for the workshop. Workshop participants will be selected on the basis of writing portfolios they submit (see guidelines below). The workshop will be designed in response to the writing submitted and up to 12 writers will be selected to participate.
